Another Welcome
To those of you who have just received a postcard announcing our 35th Reunion in August and are checking this out for the first time, thanks for joining us. I hope you will feel free to comment on anything you read on here. If you tried to comment before and found you had to be a blogger member to do so, that has been fixed and you can either choose to add your name to your post or just select the anonymous option.
I've added a slideshow of our yearbook pictures to the page and am still tweaking it once in a while so if it won't load for you, refresh your browser and hopefully it will work. Right now the photos are coming up in the same order each time you log in, starting with the first one. I'm trying to find a way to randomize them and in the meantime, I'm going in and manually shuffling them around every so often. Also if you don't see your photo, that's because I still have about 90 to scan and upload - maybe tonight.
If any of you have photos you would like me to add, I'd be happy to do that. You can send them to me electronically to betsyp55@yahoo.com or let me know if we need to make some other arrangement.
That's it for now. Please take a minute to let us know you were here and check back periodically to see what's new (and old).

Photos from our 25th Reunion
At our 25th reunion in 1998, we all had a great time together. 10 more years have gone by and it would be great to see all of these people and more at our 35th on Aug. 9. Hope you can make it. It won't be quite the same without you!

Here are Cathy Buchanan DeGrasse and her husband Gary, visiting with Gary Sirois with wife Pattie Lavoie.

Class President Duddy Phelps and wife Sue (Cyr) were able to join us from South Carolina. It was really great to see both of them.

Lee Richard, and Tom Spruce do a little catching up while Dale Shorette watches the mayhem on the dance floor.

Below are Rebecca Estes Sanborn, Betsy Klitch Schultz, Judy Bishop Moore and David Moore and Bruce Hamel and Debbie Foster Hamel.

There was plenty of opportunity to dance. Above, there are Peter Baillargeon and Chris McGlinchey dancing to some great 70's music and Diane Winter trying to teach us to do the Electric Slide (this was 10 years ago) Those giving it a shot are Cheryl Randall, Debbie Foster Hamel, Libby Fournier Lizzotte, Joanie Merritt and yours truly.
At picture taking time the photographers had a little trouble getting us to behave and line up properly. It reminded me of marching practice at graduation. Of course, that's Jon Hill heading in the wrong direction - some things never change :-)
I'll share more later, but I just wanted to give you a glimpse of some of your classmates all grown up.

Some missing classmates
Hi everyone!
We are still working hard on the class list and getting ready to send out our first mailing. There are quite a few people that we think we need new addresses for because of 911 and post office changes, but then there are those that we didn't have any address for the last time we did this 10 years ago so I thought I would list those and see if any of you know anything about them:
Richard Baker
Jeannie Boyle
Steven Breton
Cathy Cary
Delma Chubbuck
Paul Commeau (not Paul Comeau)
Ralph Daigle
Donald Drinkwater
Cathy Dunphy Spencer
Ann Dyment
Lorraine Ewer
Roxanne Ewer
Billy Howe
Greg Moulton
Chris O'Keefe
Rhonda Rossignol
Mike Sanborn
Debbie Sutton Rossignol
Mike Thibodeau
Steve Wickett
Glen Willey
If you have any idea where any of these people might be, please post here or let me know at betsyp55@yahoo.com
Once we send out postcards we will probably have more, but these are the real mysteries right now.
That's it for now. I'll be posting some great photos from our last reunion a little later on, so be sure to check back.

I came across a few items of high school memorabilia the other day and tucked inside of my diploma were these two programs from Class Night and Graduation. What are your memories of graduation?I have just bits and pieces of memories from these two nights. I wish I could remember
the band and chorus numbers, but those are completely gone. I remember more about the marching practice than I do about actually marching in in front of all of our families. I do remember it being hot in the gym and hearing people fanning themselves with their programs, but that could have been any program we attended or participated in there. At graduation, I had brought a small battery operated fan and shared it with those sitting near me. All was well until Jo-Ann Mitchell got it caught in her hair. It took us quite a few minutes (and several stern looks from Mr. Viola) to stop laughing and settle back down to serious business.

It took us quite a few minutes (and several stern looks from Mr. Viola) to stop laughing and settle back down to serious business. And I remember Tom, Duddy, Dave and I getting together with Mrs. Howe and learning our speeches so we wouldn't have to use notes. The night we actually gave them is kind of a blur, but I was very glad when it was over and I could sit back down. Though I do it quite often now, public speaking is still difficult for me. What I learned from Mrs. Howe thirty-five years ago has helped me though - being well prepared makes all the difference.
Did you know we had Commencement Committees? I didn't, even though some of my friends were on them. What did they do? And what is that last committee - Service? Winnie, you were on one of these. What was it all about? I just thought the class officers and (mostly) Mr. Viola did everything. Anyway, here's a picture of the school from our diplomas. Curious that it's a picture from before the pool was added which makes it about 6 years old?

They must have had lots of them made and wanted to use them up.
Well, I'll leave you with those thoughts for now. Glad to see some interest in this. Please don't forget to send us your mailing address if you haven't done so already. We'll be mailing out cards soon and want to have as many correct addresses as we can.
